Residential purchases are covered by our Residential Limited Lifetime Warranty. Commercial/hospitality installations are covered by our Commercial & Hospitality 5-Year Limited Warranty.
Residential Limited Lifetime Warranty (Consumer Use)
Who is covered: This warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser (“you”) of Uwharrie Outdoor Living furniture purchased new from Uwharrie Outdoor Living or an authorized dealer, and used in a residential setting (personal/home use). Commercial, hospitality, or other non-residential use is not covered under this Residential Warranty. Please see the Commercial & Hospitality Warranty below.
What is covered: Under normal environmental conditions and normal residential use: Uwharrie Polymer is warranted for the lifetime of the original purchaser against termite damage, decay, and cracking; Pressure Treated Pine is warranted for the lifetime of the original purchaser against termite damage and decay; and Screws and bolts are warranted against corrosion caused by normal environmental exposure.
What we will do (your remedy): If a covered defect occurs, Uwharrie Outdoor Living will, at its option: Provide replacement wood or polymer components affected by covered termite/decay damage (and polymer cracking), and/or Provide replacement hardware if covered screws/bolts corrode under normal environmental exposure. Replacement parts may be the same or a comparable part of equal value and quality, and may differ in color/finish due to product aging, batch variation, or updates.
What is not covered: Fading, color change, or color matching due to sun exposure or normal aging; Labor, assembly, disassembly, installation, handling, transportation, shipping, pickup/delivery; Damage from improper assembly after the product leaves our factory; Abnormal use or improper use (including use beyond intended purpose); Normal wear and tear; Damage caused by misuse, abuse, vandalism, accidents, or corrosive environments; Acts of nature (including fire, flood, hurricane, earthquake, lightning); Environmental conditions such as mold or mildew, staining from foreign substances, or normal weathering such as fading, chipping, cracking, warping, or dirt accumulation; Color or pattern variation between original and replacement parts. We may discontinue products, collections, or colors at any time. If an exact replacement is unavailable, we may provide replacement materials of equal value and quality.
Maintenance requirements: Proper care and maintenance are required. This warranty is void if there are indications of abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance. Normal wear and tear is not covered.
How to submit a warranty claim: Email info@uwharrieoutdoorliving.com with: (1) A copy of your original purchase receipt, (2) A written explanation of the issue, and (3) Clear photos showing the concern (and wider shots showing the full product). After review, we’ll contact you with next steps and a resolution.
Legal rights: This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state. Any implied warranties (including merchantability or fitness) are limited to the extent permitted by law.
Commercial & Hospitality 5-Year Limited Warranty
Who is covered: This warranty applies to the original purchaser of Uwharrie Outdoor Living furniture purchased new from Uwharrie Outdoor Living or an authorized dealer and used in commercial settings, including (but not limited to) restaurants, hotels, resorts, venues, clubs, multi-family common areas, offices, retail, HOA/amenity spaces, and other non-residential applications. Coverage lasts five (5) years from the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”).
What is covered: Under normal environmental conditions and normal commercial use during the Warranty Period: Uwharrie Polymer warranty against termite damage, decay, and cracking; Pressure Treated Pine warranty against termite damage and decay; and Screws and bolts warranty against corrosion due to normal environmental exposure.
What we will do (your remedy): If a covered issue occurs during the Warranty Period, Uwharrie Outdoor Living will, at its option: Provide replacement polymer or wood components for covered termite/decay damage (and polymer cracking), and/or Provide replacement hardware for covered corrosion of screws/bolts. Replacement parts may be substituted with components of equal value and quality if exact matches are unavailable. Color/finish variations may occur.
What is not covered (Commercial): Fading, color change, or exact color matching due to sun exposure or aging; Labor, refinishing, assembly/disassembly, transportation, freight, install, or service costs; Damage from improper assembly, improper storage, or mishandling after leaving our factory; Abnormal or improper use (including use outside intended purpose or load limits); Normal wear and tear; Damage caused by misuse, abuse, vandalism, accidents, or corrosive environments; Acts of nature (fire, flood, hurricane, earthquake, lightning); Environmental conditions such as mold or mildew, staining from foreign substances, or normal weathering such as fading, chipping, cracking, warping, or dirt accumulation; and Color/pattern variation between original and replacement parts. We reserve the right to discontinue product lines or colors without notice; if discontinued, we may supply replacement materials of equal value and quality.
